Maysara is a dramatic, gorgeous winery that offers amazing views, no matter the season.
Areeg, of Areeg Spencer Weddings, approached me with the inspiration to highlight the softer, romantic side of the winery during early Autumn.
This was a great way to showcase the diversity of Pacific Northwest outdoor venues. While you’ll still see touches of jewel tones, this collaboration embraces lighter, almost Spring colors. This beautifully respected the transition from Summer to Fall.
In true Oregon Fall form, the days leading up to the shoot were full of rain and threats of thunderstorms. But as we all arrived at Maysara, the rain cleared and the sun shone through the clouds, perfectly showing off the lush, green landscape.
Maysara features a picturesque lake that greets guests as they enter the property. Canoes have always struck me as romantic, so, with our sweet couple up for the adventure, this shoot presented the perfect opportunity to showcase a beautifully decorated canoe, a worthy wedding day moment.
Every vendor brought in thoughtful, delicate touches to create this romantically classic look. From the hand torn edges on the invitations that echo the delicate gold edging on the cake to the stunning beading on the gown and creative use of grapevines in the tablescape. This shoot embraces every detail and I hope it inspires couples to be adventurous with their own wedding day choices. There are so many opportunities to let your personality shine on your special day, be bold and fill your day with gorgeous details that make it perfectly beautiful for you!
