Our 5 favorite hotels in the PNW

When it comes to planning your wedding in the PNW you have so many choices! Sometimes the hardest choice is where. Whether you are looking for a rustic mountain wedding, a classy vineyard affair, coastal views, or maybe downtown vibes there is always a level of concern about where your guests will stay. Today we want to feature 5 of our favorite hotels sprinkled around the beautiful PNW.ckeventdesign.com | 5 favorite hotels in the Pacific Northwest | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Jenny Chokbengboun

1. Securing a downtown venue leaves you an abundance of hotel choices.

We want to give you 2 of our favorite downtown hotels, picking 2 was really tough, but we did it! The Porter Hotel is BRAND new, it is swanky, luxurious, and has all of the outdoor space Portland has been craving. You can enjoy cocktails on the terrace and morning yoga in the outdoor meditation space. This would be such a great hotel for a welcome cocktail hour for all of your guests. The views are incredible. Another downtown hotel favorite is Dossier. This beautiful downtown Pearl District hotel has everything your guests could want. Great food, great rooms, and is in walking distance to shopping, spas, and more. We think this would be a great retreat after a night of celebrating you!

2. Are you picturing your wedding taking place a little bit off of the beaten path?

Maybe you want something with Mountain views? Instead of hearing cars and buses you want to hear the birds? Mount Hood offers a number of amazing venues for your wedding day. Luckily for your guests, there are also a number of insanely gorgeous resorts and hotels close by. But if we are talking our FAVORITE mountain stays, Timberline Lodge takes the cake. Timberline has the perfect combination of rustic and luxury. You and your guests can enjoy their amenities all year round.

3. Here in Oregon, we make a little thing called Pinot Noir 😉 and it is amazing!

Do you know what else is amazing? Our vineyard wedding venues! They are insane, I could go on and on about all of the gorgeous features of our wine country but it is best if you go and explore it yourself. I completely understand the appeal of a wine country wedding, and even though these venues are ways out of the city you do not have to jeopardize your guest’s comfort. We have two favorite hotels in wine country and we know you will love them too. Alison Inn and Spa are consistently being recognized for all that it has to offer. Great food, lodging, and a spa that cannot be overlooked.ckeventdesign.com | 5 favorite hotels in the Pacific Northwest | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Katy Weaver Photographyckeventdesign.com | 5 favorite hotels in the Pacific Northwest | Oregon Event Planning and Design | The Edges Weddings Photography

4. Last but not least we want to feature a couple of amazing places to stay on the Oregon Coast!

We know that the coast has become a sought out destination from couples far and near. Our 2 favorite places to stay when having a coastal event are; The Old Wheeler Hotel, this place has so much history. It is a fun little boutique hotel right in Nehalem Bay. There are so many great shops and restaurants nearby, and maybe a ghost or two! ;)The other coastal hotel that would be perfect for your guests is The Hallmark Resort & Spa in Cannon Beach. Do I need to say more? A spa on the beach, yes, please!!! The amenities here are wonderful and the views are outstanding. How awesome would a bonfire on the beach be? We love it here and we know your guests will too!
